At what age did you decide to become an artist?

I fell in love with music at an early age. My first big experience with rap was 50 Cent's Get Rich Or Die Tryin album. Right then and there I knew I wanted to do this.

Name a few of your biggest influences in hip hop?

My biggest influences in hiphop are 50 Cent and Eminem. Artist who have broken through so many barriers and aren't afraid to take on the world.

What are some of the things you’re working on right now?

Right now I'm working on promoting my new mixtape "All In The Mixtape", It was released last month on November 5th. I have been getting good feedback its a fun and exciting experience for me.

Interview with DJ Nero Maserati @ChiTownDjNero

At what age did you decide to become a DJ?

I started in the 80's at 13yrs old in Chicago. Then our music was House music and Steppers music. I was introduced to hip-hop from the Sugar Hill Gang and progressed into listening to Gangster Rap music. We had a station  that is still currently on WHPK 88.1. After that I changed my prospective music choice and fell into the Urban scene.

Name a few of your biggest influences in hip hop?

I was influenced by both coast (West and East), the South, and the Midwest. I can't just name one artist or group. But I can say the 80's Era of hip-hop and rap (gangster) was my influences.

What are some of the things you’re working on right now?

Right now I'm pushing my mixtapes and soon in 2015 dropping official singles. I'm currently releasing my mixtapes through several sites: SPINRILLA, DATPIFF, MIXCONNECT. You can find my collection by searching Dj Nero Maserati on any one of those sites. My collection is at over 120,000 views, 6,000 downloads, and 20,000 streams. Soon I will be launching my own website and tripling those numbers.

What advice can you give other upcoming artists and or DJ's?

Invest in your self. Believe in your business. Understand the business. Take constructive advice and put real people in your corner. "Yes" men are low key haters. Everything don't sound or look good. Put time into what you do(practice, practice, practice). In order to be great at your craft rather rapper, singer, or dj you have to work at it.

How has life changed for you since becoming a DJ?

I meet a lot of national and local artist. Doing shows living my dream. Becoming the owner of the Rap Factory.

Have you had the pleasure of performing yet?

I have played at a lot of clubs. Also dj for many national acts such as Project Pat, Travis Porter, Waka Flocka, Maino, Yo-Yo, and Scarface to name a few.

Are there any artists/talent that you’ve worked with that we should be watching?

The artist I can point out is myself. Chicago's Hottest Dj Nero Maserati. Look out for more mixtapes and the premier of my singles and Ep. Also the launch of my website. Check my collection out on SPINRILLA www.spinrilla.com/artist/djneromaserati

HAPPY BIRTHDAY @Young_Trouble90

We want to wish 1/3 of the HBz Young Trouble a very Happy Birthday From @LuvIndieHipHop. We wish you many more.

@DashFlaSh Interview

At what age did you decide to become an artist?

At the age of seventeen I decided to become an artist. My brothers and myself always discussed on how we wanted to live this dream in the projects. I fell in love with Hip Hop at the age of seven, when I saw Tupac on TV performing “Hit Em Up”. I started taking this music serious at the age of twenty one.

Name a few of your biggest influences in hip hop?

Tupac, Biggie, Nas, Jay Z, Jadakiss.

What are some of the things you’re working on right now?

Right now I’m getting ready to release the #RegretTheDoubt mixtape. I am already writing all of my songs for the upcoming #Blessed mixtape that will be released around the summer of 2015. Also working on ideas of the upcoming videos with the brothers. We always working on this side. .

What advice can you give other upcoming artists?

Make sure you are having fun while doing this. Never let anyone tell you what you can and cannot do. If the love of Hip Hop is in your heart, then God put that love in your heart for a reason. Don’t label other artists that are also coming up in the game as competition. For that is a waste of time and will not benefit you in any way, shape, or form. Focus on God, yourself, and your gift.

How has life changed for you since becoming an artist?

Life hasn’t really changed much. Just the fan base has increased and more blessings keep coming my way.

Have you had the pleasure of performing yet?

I opened up for Papoose back in April 18th, in Providence, RI. Performed twice at the Sailfest in New London, CT. Performed at TheRidgeSeason release concert back in August 2nd. My brother Tallent and myself will be opening up for Chris Webby at the Lupo’s venue in Providence, RI this November 7th. Come out to support and have a good time!

Are there any artists/talent that you’ve worked with that we should be watching?
